《时灵:星辰愚者》的剧情设定在一个架空的奇幻世界。一场名为大崩构的灾难，打开了人类与其他种族之间联系的通道。人类可以和一种叫做时灵的生物签订契约，他们以时间为食，并与人类一同生活或者战斗。 RPG的故事建立在该世界观之上，讲述了一个名叫‘阿斯特拉’的海港上，本地帮派正身陷权力争夺的泥潭，此时发生了一场成员被刺杀的事件，目睹现场的帮派成员——主人公希德与他的时灵搭档托莉，为了得到前往帝都的推荐信，接下了寻找凶手的任务。殊不知这场事件的背后是利益的交换与政治的漩涡。 一、游戏特色： （1）主线与支线任务的多结局。 （2）选择主角的多种性格扮演。 （3）层层推进的主线剧情。 （4）有趣的角色与精美的立绘。 （5）培养搭档的多种能力。 （6）全手绘的游戏画面 （7）角色拥有配音。 二、战斗系统： （1）游戏开始玩家就能使用一把远程与近战结合的铳剑作为武器，在推进故事、探索、支线任务中玩家可以获得武器的“改装配件”，这时候你可以去找武器店的老朋友去解锁新的战斗方式。 （2）其次是我们的“搭档”，玩家可以培养她的战斗风格与技能，与玩家的武器系统配合之下组成你想要的战斗方式。 伙伴“托莉”拥有三种战斗风格，分别是红莲风格、浮叶风格、金刚风格。切换风格后托莉会变更为全新的战斗方式。不同的风格拥有各自的技能树，玩家可以根据情况随时切换。 （3）最后是由搭档释放的特殊系统‘时间停止’，怪物除了血条之外还有‘刻’，刻为怪物提供一定的减伤，打破刻会积累时停点，释放时停可以消耗有限的行动点数指挥搭档释放技能。 三、游戏叙事： 玩家扮演的主人公有基础的人物性格与角色背景，但在各种对话中玩家会获得一定的角色主动权。 选择热血、街头或理性的三种性格方向的对话，可以看到我们为各种支线任务准备的性格对应剧情或不同的任务结局，他们会影响NPC的命运或是决定你解决任务的方式。
